You have options to register for a Cheney Recreation Program. You can click on the link below to view all programs and register. You will need to create an account if you do not have one. You may also print off a general enrollment form under the "Forms" tab and complete it and return to the office.

Cheney Youth Track Meet
Kid's Club Summer Day Camp
Cheney Youth Track Meet
Another great Cheney youth track meet! A full flyer of the meet will be available in February on the CRC website. Events vary by age groups, but may include 50M, 100M, 200M, 400M, 800M, 1600M, high jump, long jump, turbo javelin and more. 4 groups will be broken up to compete in based on current grade: pre-K/Kind, grade 1/2, grade 3/4, grade 5/6. Awards are provided for all participants placing in the top 6 at each event. You do not have to be a member of a club to participate. We need volunteers, please let CRC know if you can help us out. The track meet is a fundraiser for CRC and our scholarship program to help those that may need assistance when registering for our programs.

Swim Team
Kid's Club Summer Day Camp
Cheney Youth Track Meet
Join the Cheney Youth Swim Team & have fun in the sun. You’ll learn techniques, stroke development, and compete against other kids in the Ark Valley Swim League. League teams are Clearwater, Mulvane, Belle Plaine, & Conway Springs. Practices will be Mondays & Thursdays, an additional practice time 9-10 am will be added if the team is large enough. Most swim meets are held on Saturday mornings beginning in June with league finals being at the end of the month. The Cheney meet will be on Wednesday, June 10, volunteers are needed. Schedule may change as needed. Parents are asked to help (timer, staging area) with 1-2 swim meets. Swimmers must be able to swim one full length of the pool. Please provide birth date and email for team communication when registering. Additional program information on meets and practices will be sent out after registration. Fee includes t-shirts, please indicate size. Late registration will not guarantee a team shirt.

Kid's Club Summer Day Camp
Summer fun here we come. Participants will be active in numerous arts & crafts (painting, gluing, cutting & more!), sports and games (soccer, kickball, etc.), fitness time, and other fun activities (tag, scooters, etc.) each day. A snack is provided and playground time is also held daily. Additional events: Water Day (water balloons, last day of program, wear suits, etc.). Enter through the old west elementary gym blue doors. Note: Parents are asked to provide one package of granola bars the first week of Kid’s Klub. Please inform CRC of allergies/medical conditions. Age determined as of June 1. CRC program scholarships are available to assist.

Babysitting Class

Kid's Club Summer Day Camp
This course gives young people the skills and confidence to care for infants through school-age children. This program is interactive and activity-based that builds self-confidence and competence by practicing decision-making and managing real-life situations. Topics include safety issues, preventing injuries and illnesses, basic childcare, first aid, care for choking and age-appropriate behavior and play. Everyone must bring lunch with them to class. Class is limited in size.

Youth Dunk Ball Action

Adult Co-ed Softball League
Grab a friend or two and come hoop it up at the sports complex court with Dunk Ball. The goal will be lowered, and rules modified for the games. Come show your ball skills and have a blast. Participants sign up and will be placed on small teams and play multiple games.

Form your team for the Cheney Co-ed Softball League. Ten game guarantee for each team with champ t-shirts. If anyone does not have a team call CRC and we will gather a list of players. Teams that wish to practice on CRC fields must reserve the time through CRC office. Contact CRC for roster & rule information. 542-0010.
